As well as producing award winning beverage products, the Bickford’s Group of Companies owns several impressive assets which enrich the Australian tourism landscape. This allows us to offer amazing tourist and function destinations around the country.
The 28 hectare vineyard was first planted in the 1960’s. Grown in ancient sandy soils, the deep sand above the clay sub-soils allow the vines to be dry-grown with minimal or no irrigation, creating wines of intense flavours & soft mouth filling tannins.
The Beresford Tasting Pavilion boasts an enviable view up the hill to the Grand House nestled amongst the Estate Vineyards. It is a magnificent setting for private tastings, food and wine matching classes and educational sessions.
The $5m Beenleigh Artisan Distillery Visitor Centre is a living piece of Queensland history, as the oldest registered distillery in Australia. Visitors get to see how Beenleigh rum is returning to the quality and craft it was once renowned for, using small batch copper pot distillation, aging in barrels instead of large vats and quality local ingredients, such as molasses from the family-owned Rocky Point Sugar Mill just a few kilometres down the road.
Since taking ownership of the Renmano Winery in Renmark in 2014, the Bickford’s Group has been restoring and developing the site to be a world class distillery and visitor centre. The site will be open to the public in October 2016.
