We are currently seeking Casual Production Technicians to join our growing team. Based at our Salisbury South site, this exciting opportunity offers a chance to be a part of developing and producing a vast range of products. 

Key responsibilities:
  • Ensuring timely and accurate batching of work orders to meet bottling line requirements; Including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Safe and effective operation of beverage manufacturing machinery including fillers, packers, labellers and palletisers 
  • Comprehending instructions and carrying out tasks in line with the standard operating procedure
  • A strong GMP and Health and safety focus ensuring all procedures are followed to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Following the development and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives 
  • End of production shut down and cleaning of machines
  • Assist with preventative maintenance as required

This role will be based on a rotating shift schedule. 

To succeed in this position, you will have the following experience and attributes:
  • Demonstrated previous experience in FMCG, food and beverage manufacturing or bottling/packaging operations will be looked upon favorably
  • Previous exposure to Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP’s) and/or Lean Manufacturing Principles is desirable 
  • Experience in syrup making, liquid and/or alcohol batching or ingredients blending is an advantage
  • Qualifications in Food Processing or Manufacturing will be highly regarded
  • Exposure to or ability to learn software systems 
  • Be able to work autonomously and as a team
  • Comfortable with manual handling and able to lift between 10-20kgs
  • Current Forklift Licence or willing to obtain
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
